Hi, my name is Ruby!
I did my MA in illustration at HAW (University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg) and MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore USA) and am now working as an illustrator in Hamburg, Germany.
The focus of my work is on children‘s books, stationery and hand lettering.
My illustrations are characterized by an eye for detail and harmonious color choices. Within my illustrations I put special care in developing interesting and sympathetic characters. My work is heavily inspired by nature and I particularly like to illustrate animals and plants.
